Brenda has worked in health care for over thirty years. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from ISU and worked in various areas of nursing for ten years, including management. With the dream of working as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, she pursued her Master's degree in South Dakota. At the time, she and her husband Todd had four small children; those years remain the only time she and her family have lived away from Southeastern Idaho.
Brenda not only graduated Magna Cum Laude from the rigorous program, she was honored to be among two students nominated as the Outstanding Student in the program and earned a perfect score on her board certification.
Following graduate work, she and her family returned home where she has worked as a CRNA throughout the region, including western Wyoming.
Brenda has a voracious appetite for learning and adds to her education and medical credentials through attending conferences and seminars every chance she gets.
Whenever new techniques or technology become available, Brenda wants to experience them, not just for her own benefit (one small perk!) but also to learn ways to improve the overall patient experience.
In her "free time," she enjoys traveling, snowmobiling, camping, fishing, hiking, and spending time with her family. She is also a young grandmother to two very charming and dynamic grandsons and three brilliant and beautiful granddaughters.
