Bingo wings, love handles, saddle bags...yeah, we can fix that.

November 11, 2017

Why do we have "pet names" for those pesky areas of our bodies? Maybe it's because we've given up on ever getting rid of them, so we've decided to just accept them, embrace them, name them.

Bingo wings

The first time I heard my nephew use this term, I was confused and grateful. Confused, because I had no idea he was referring to that extra fat and skin on the upper arm that flaps so vigorously when senior citizens wave their arms in the air and shout, "BINGO!"  Grateful, because mine were in pretty good shape...at the time.

Unfortunately, as life happens, excess fat and loose tissue tends to accumulate in some areas that are pretty difficult to address with diet and exercise alone. Hello love handles, saddle bags, bra-line back fat, and yes...bingo wings.

Octipolar to the rescue!

Oh, the magic of radio frequency (RF) and pulsed electromagnetic fields (PEMF)! These two amazing technologies are the gold-standard for non-invasive body contouring and are combined in Venus Versa Octipolar technology.

During a treatment, fat and skin tissues are gently warmed and massaged for a prescribed period of time...usually around 20-30 minutes. Clients are then sent back to work or play with instructions to drink plenty of water to help the body get rid of the broken down fat.

All that warming and massage adds up to amazing results! Not only do RF and PEMF reduce fat by gently melting it, but combined, they stimulate new collagen production, resulting in firmer, more tightened skin. New blood vessels are also created, giving nourishment to the fresh collagen and causing better overall skin tone. Freezing fat off can't begin to offer these benefits.

A series of treatments is needed to obtain desired results, and they are usually scheduled once a week until the course is complete. Improvement begins to become noticeable about half-way through the regimen, but final results don't occur until about 3 months after the last treatment.

Safe for everyone?

RF and PEMF are safe, having been used in medicine for decades. However, there are some clients who aren't good candidates for RF/PEMF treatments. Anyone with a pacemaker or implanted orthopedic hardware near the area to be treated are excluded from this treatment. Also, like any treatment, results can be un-done by a poor diet and sedentary lifestyle. At Snake River Aesthetics & MediSpa, we encourage a healthy lifestyle, because we care about our clients.

Terms of Endearment

Terms of endearment are cute, but before you decide to assign one to your unwanted fat, give Snake River Aesthetics & MediSpa a call. We offer free consultations and flexible hours. Let us help you achieve the body you've always wanted.
